Milan Pink Bathroom

Helping a client turn the vision of her dream bathroom into clear technical communication for her contractors — and a smooth renovation.

Our client in Milan knew how she wanted her bathroom to look, and she had drawn it herself. Her sketches showed the vanity, the wall cabinets and where each fitting should go. What she needed was a clear way to explain it to her contractors. We turned her sketches into measured 2D drawings and 3D visuals, wall by wall. On site, the drawings were taped to the wall, so everyone worked from the same plan.

Design decisions

The room measures 235 by 217 cm.

The plan fits a built-in bath of 180 by 80 cm along one side. A wall-hung toilet and bidet share the wall opposite the double vanity. On the vanity wall, two vessel basins sit 70 cm apart on a 140 cm wooden unit with drawers, with wall-mounted taps and two oval mirrors above. Above the toilet and bidet, the client’s sketch showed a grid of cabinets. We drew it as three rows of doors, each 45 cm high and 60 or 58 cm wide, with woven fronts in the 3D visual. Every drawing carries the measurements the contractors need to place each fitting and cabinet. The lower walls are pink, and a textured panel sits behind the mirrors. The photo from the site shows the room taking shape: pink walls, the built-in bath and the wall-hung toilet, with our drawings taped up beside them.
